Howick historical village visit On Thursday 14th June 2018 Me and My Class (Ormiston primary School) when to Howick historical village because in School we have been exploring on children through the ages and the learning coach’s thought it was a great opportunity for LH7 to see how children lived in the 1800s When we arrived we started off with an intro about the place and our guides then we separated Into 3 groups to go look at each of the activities. My group started off with the toys that children played with my favorite was the walking siltis but after the intro, we had morning tea then the 1 activities which were toys. Next was cooking we were making Irish soda bread I learned that if you put yet you have to put sugar but you don’t put sugar.
