Learning Area: Learning Habitat 1 - Mathematics
Learning Observed
Harry has been learning about how to find a fraction of a number. He has been looking at different strategies to help solve these types of problems. Harry has learnt how to use equal sharing and addition to solve these types of problems. Today Harry was extremely happy with his efforts. Has has been working hard and is able to solve these fraction problems. Once Harry completed his task I found him with several of his peers around him and Harry was teaching them how to solve the problems. He could see that they were struggling and he took it upon himself to show them. Once Harry had finished the learners that he was teaching all understood the concept.
