                         My Trip To The Movies 

 On Sunday 8th October 2017 I and my cousin Andrew when to the movies in botany when we got there we decided on when to watch and the movie we wanted to watch was, The Emoji Movie.  When we decided what we were going to watch we when to the counter where you can buy food and buy tickets. So what we did first was buy the tickets then we  bought some food. I only could have a drink so I ordered an ice tea  flavored peach  Drink then Andrew on the other side bought some chocolate, It was caramel in the middle and he also bought a  frozen Coke it was enormous it was bigger than my hand I had to use  both my hand to hold it. Then we had to wait about 3 mins to get in. When we got in the room we were surprised how many people were in the room there were like. 2 family's . Then we got on are seats to wait for the movie to start when it started we had to turn our iPhones of. It started with commercials as it usually does then it started with an intro about the movie. The movie was about 2 hours. When the movie ended we got out of our seats and headed to Mc Donald's I ordered a cheeseburger and a lime milkshake and Andrew ordered an Big Mac and we also got some frys when we were eating I spotted my teacher, Miss

Joshua and Harry's 3D Printing Learning Story

Learners: Joshua & Harry     Learning Coach: T.Dillner            Date: 21.9.15 Learning Area: Technology - 3D Printing Learning Observed Joshua & Harry chose to participate in 3D Printing during iExperience during Week 7-10 this term. We initially learnt about the Thinker’s Key called ‘BAR’. BAR stands for Bigger, Add, Replace. To practise, the learners had to pick either a pen, lunch box or tennis racquet to make a feature bigger, add to the item and replace something. The learners had as much creative license as they needed and then they reflected on how functional the item had become - could it still be used for its original purpose? The next stage was to come up with an item that we use at school and repeat the BAR process. Joshua & Harry decided on creating a dice to use in a game.
